Ennis House
Los Angeles, CA - 1923-1924
Built for Charles and Mabel Ennis, this was also known as the Ennis-Brown House from 1980-2005. The art glass windows and doors in the Ennis House are reminiscent of examples from Wright's earlier prairie period, and are the last he designed for any residence. The wisteria motif mosaic above the living room fireplace is one of only four art glass mosaics Wright ever designed. The dining room features three mitered windows and seamless corner windows that provide panoramic views.
